These terms apply to orders placed on the GASE website, by phone or by WhatsApp. By placing an order you agree to them.
Orders and confirmation
An order is a request. It is confirmed when we send you an order reference and delivery window. We may decline or adjust an order if stock is unavailable, the address falls outside our route, or the details cannot be verified. Prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Delivery
Same-day delivery applies to orders placed before 12:00 in Zones A and B, subject to stock and route capacity. Zone C orders are generally next-day. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees. Someone aged 18 or older must be at the address to receive cylinders and sign for them. If nobody is available, we may charge a return trip.
Cylinder exchange and deposits
Our exchange prices assume you return an empty cylinder of the same size and gas type in a safe, serviceable condition. If you do not have an empty, a refundable deposit is charged. The deposit is refunded when the cylinder is returned within the agreed period, undamaged and within test date. We may refuse a cylinder that is corroded, damaged, out of test or not lawfully ours to accept.
Safety
You are responsible for the safe storage, use and transport of the gas once it is in your possession. Cylinders must be kept upright, in a ventilated space, away from heat and ignition. Never store LPG cylinders indoors or in a basement. Read the safety information supplied with your order and on our safety page.
Payment
We accept EFT, card or cash on delivery, and approved trade accounts. EFT orders are dispatched once payment reflects. Trade account terms are agreed separately. Banking details are sent with the order confirmation when EFT is selected.
Cancellations and returns
You may cancel before the order is packed by phoning 012 555 0148. Once a cylinder has been filled or dispatched, cancellation may incur a handling fee. Equipment may be returned unused and in its original packaging within 7 days, excluding consumables and gases. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Liability
We supply gas and equipment with care, but we cannot control how they are stored or used after delivery. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will first be referred to our management for a good-faith resolution.

Gas Run competition
The GASE Gas Run is a free monthly skill game. No purchase is necessary. By entering, you agree to these competition terms.
- One best score per email address per calendar month. You may play as often as you like, but only your highest score counts.
- The leaderboard runs for the calendar month and resets at 00:00 South African time on the first day of the next month.
- The winner is the player with the highest score when the month closes. If scores tie, the longest run wins. If both score and time tie, the earlier entry wins.
- The winner gets one free GASE gas delivery, including a cylinder up to 9 kg. The winner can choose the 5 kg or 9 kg exchange; 9 kg is the largest cylinder included.
- The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative and is subject to stock and delivery availability.
- We will contact the winner at the email address used to enter, within 7 days of the month closing. The winner must respond within 14 days to claim the prize.
- The public leaderboard displays your first name, score and run time only. Your email is not published.
- Entries that appear automated, tampered with or impossible may be removed. Our decision on the winner is final.
- This competition is operated by GASE Gas Exchange, Pretoria. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any social media platform.
